Some say Spanish Roja has no rival in the flavor department. I won’t dispute- it’s one of my favorite Rocamboles for flavor. Early on, I found it a challenge as a grower in my climate, so gardeners of 43 degrees north beware- Turkish Red, Killarney Red, or Carpathian may prove more reliable producers. I have found high quality stock and I'm growing it out fresh from anew. Give it a go, it's a top-in-class Rocambole with few rivals.
