A hardy, productive Marbled Purple Stripe named for the town in Massachusetts where it was first developed. From what I understand, it started as an asexual tissue propagation to help relieve viral pressure. Popular in the Northeast for being a vigorous grower, even when it's propagated from bulbs now. 8 - 10 cloves per bulb. Often called a Purple Stripe, but I believe it's a Marbled Purple Stripe.
