Slower to start in spring than my French Red Softneck, it was sold to me under the simple name "French Softneck" and so I'm not sure if they are separate strains. I always err on the side of caution and I grow the 2 separately. Again- slower in spring than the "Red" named one, but just as productive in the end. May be good for those worried about a false spring start followed by deep cold.
